Yoga in the Park Nepal Relief update!

We are about half way through the 8 day relief program that we started last Saturday for the rebuilding of Tara Abbey in Nepal. I can only say everyone’s generosity has been incredible, not only have we had solid donations from so many of you, we have had a few members of our community reach out to try to include others as well. One of our yogi’s, Jill Panitch is working with her company to try to get people to donate a full days pay and get the company to match funds, who knows how this will turn out, but talk about a heart being in the right place. Another yogi, Mali Workman, a professional photographer is donating all her fees for sessions booked by any of you for the next two weeks to Tara Abbey, another yogi of ours, now in Chicago, Beth Argus now a Yoga Instructor is putting on a special class this Saturday with all funds going to the Himalayan Children’s Fund. Many of you have reposted my posts trying to encourage others to get involved and donate. Some of you have dug very deep and made $$$$ contributions like I have never received before. There is still time to make a difference, come to yoga and donate, schedule a massage with me and have all of the money go to Tara Abbey, and I still have a few spaces open for my Workshop The Art of Touch / The Art of Massage on May 31st, all funds going to Tara Abbey. I have attached flyers with all the details, your support is making a difference, we can rebuild Tara Abbey and get our young women back in their home and back to school. Thank you so much! Carl
