October Class schedule!

Yoga in the Park moves back to winter schedule for October. Classes will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday all at 8am at the Montage public park (Treasure Island park).

No Sunset Yoga tomorrow. Wed. class at 8am!

Wednesday, Sept 19 Yoga in the Park will be at 8am. There will be no more Sunset Yoga classes this year, Fall is here, and the nights are getting shorter. Classes for the rest of September are Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, and Saturday all at 8am at the Montage public park (Treasure Island Park).

Two siters added to our support list!

A special request went out to provide support for these two girls in Bhutan. Because of their relationship to Thrangu Rinpoche and Tara Abbey, I felt Yoga in the Park really needed to help out. I am pleased to tell you that we are now supporting these girls, bringing the number of girls to twelve that now receive our support . Again I want to thank all of you that take my classes and generously provide donations, without you our help for these girls would not be possible. Namaste, Carl These sisters, Phuntsho Choden (age 13) and Yuden Lhamo (age 10) study in Class 7 and Class 5 respectively at Dr. Tobgyal School in Thimphu, Bhutan. They are nieces of Lama Tashi Tsewang, one of Thrangu Rinpoche’s attendant lamas from Bhutan. The girls are partially sponsored but needed another $600.00 a year each in order to pay their school fees. Both girls are very good and eager students and love to read. Phuntso Choden loves to draw and Yuden Lhamo enjoys dance and sports. Their parents are uneducated and moved from eastern Bhutan to the city in hopes of a better future. The father is a driver and earns less than $100.00 a month.
