Yoga in the Park supports the Himalayan Children's Fund

Yoga in the Park supports the Himalayan Children's Fund, providing education in Nepal that could not be had in any other way. Please take a moment to view this great video on the schools and the work being done there. http://youtu.be/wdWzuhEUy9w

Special class this Sunday, March 25th at Lululemon Fashion Island 9:30 am!

In support of Jabulani's Studio in Corona del Mar (Studio of the Month for Lululemon), I will be teaching a class at Lululemon in Fashion Island Newport Beach this Sunday at 9:30 am. The class is free to all. The class will be inside at Lululemon, it should be fun, the format may be a bit different as we only have one hour for the class, but as usual you can count on a strong class. So come out meet some new people, enjoy a strong yoga class, and you can stay to see some great clothes.
I hope I see lots of you out for this class.

Tara Abbey women we support in Nepal!

Here are the young women that we support at Tara Abbey. Their education at the Shree Mangal Dvip School is provided through your generous donations at our Yoga in the Park classes. Our donations also pay for their living expenses at Tara Abbey.
Education in Nepal for women is almost non existent, with your help we are making a real difference in the lives of these women and the people that they help through their studies.
I want to really thank each of you for your support, the Saturday donation based class has always been the primary means of collecting donations, late last year I started asking everyone who takes my class to try and make at least one day a week a donation based class. This has really helped, we will easily meet our support requirements for these women and my hope is to help with other expenses for Tara Abbey as the year progresses.
If you would like additional information on Tara Abbey, The Himalayan Children’s Fund or Shree Mangal Dvip School please see their web sites below.

Namaste,

Carl
