Yoga in the Park moves to the Montage Public Park(Treasure Island Park)!

After hearing from all of you that cared to email me and after trying the new location at Heisler Park, I have decided that our class is best located at the Montage Public Park. The responses were about equal for both locations, with a few more of the regular class members preferring the Montage Public Park.
The real fact that I took into consideration, was that when we were at Heisler Park everyone preferred to be on the cement, not the grass, we ended up blocking pathways and not using the grass.We will eventually get complaints to the City and will be back fighting for our space. I recognize that the Montage is a bit less convenient for all of us, but once there, it is no-doubt the best space, we have unlimited room for everyone to be on a flat solid space with ocean all around us, the walkers are fewer and the whole space is just more tranquil.
I know this will be disappointing to some, but I hope it will not keep you from our class. We will start classes at the Montage Public Park tomorrow, Saturday!

5 Year Anniversary for Yoga in the Park

Monday is the 5 year Anniversary of Yoga in the Park. I hope I will see lots of you out next week. If you have not been out for awhile, we are now at the Montage Public Park, we will be here until the sprinkler problem is resolved at Heisler Park.
Many of you have been regulars for years, it has been such great fun to work with all of you. We are so fortunate to live in Laguna Beach, and have the locations we have to practice. With all of your Saturday yoga donations we are now sponsoring 10 girls at Tara Abbey in Nepal. I email with these girls and I can assure you that our support is both needed and appreciated.
Thanks for being part of my class, for giving to Tara Abbey and hanging in there, in what I think are some of the most challenging yoga classes in town.
